The company takes its name from the place where it was built in 1782 (and still today is) the restaurant Rifugio Crucolo. "Crucolo" means in fact "top of a mountain", where the restaurant actually is. A place in the heart of one of the most evocative valleys of the Trentino Region, Val Campelle, that cuts through Valsugana and Lagorai mountain range, dominated by Cima d'Asta.
